Let's get #beansonthemenu in schools! Last year we worked with @beansishow to develop and share bean-spiration toolkits for teachers, school children and school kitchens that included interactive bean-based activities to celebrate the power of the pulse on World Food Day. 👫 📚
...But just because World Food Day has been and gone, that doesn’t mean Beans is How outreach in schools is stopping. The school's materials are available on the @beansishow website for use on any day of the year!

A special Bean Menu Challenge NYC effort took place 18 September - 31 October, during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) – where for the first time food was on the U.N.’s official climate change agenda. @beansishow
The challenge focused on activating NYC restaurants and ...influencers, and went amazing! It was incredible to see the versatility and creativity of bean dishes across #NYC. Did you try any of them?

Water is life, water is food. Leave no one behind. In honour of #WorldFoodDay, we asked chefs to use their powerful voices to influence food systems, and share their thoughts with our viewers on the importance of #water in their kitchens, communities and #culture🙌
Chef @dora_rossi_ ...tookover our stories to advocate for #goodfood4all last year, bringing us through a day in her life as a chef based in Samoa 🇼🇸
She is the founder of both @paddles_apia_samoa and @milani_somoa and specialises in Samoan-Italian cuisine, championing local and seasonal ingredients sourced from local NGO's such as Women in Business Development (WIBDI) who focus on "on strengthening village economies in Samoa in ways that honour indigenous tradition, use traditional and modern technology, and promote fair trade."
